2007: THE YEAR THAT WAS | 
Austin's skyline was forever changing | Austin saw a lot of change in 2007. The skyline boomed, East Austin had more lofts pop up than zits on a teenager's face, and all of this weighed heavily on my
psyche on the biggest project I've undertaken in years. With a fair amount of publicity, my comic book hit the streets, I managed to string along enough work to scrape through the year, and dealt with a bunch of drama and malaise that was soothed by the opening of Rio Rita, my new local that saved my soul. |
