Bolm Studios will be the site of the 'Will There Ever Be a Rainbow' show, featuring unicorn themed art from over 40 Austin artists.  The show promises to be a lush event for the art world in Austin, with a great theme to tie everything together.  The show will expand from Bolm Studios' normal gallery space to also encompass the original gallery bay, providing ample room for all of the art and the opportunity to transform the outdoor area into a unicorn friendly environment, complete with a rainbow of balloons cascading over the chain link fence outside the studios.

The show, put together by Bolm Studio's Michael Schliefke and Ian Shults, the Head Sculptor at Blue Genie Art, will open with a rousing reception that will take place in the late afternoon and into the night on Saturday, November 5th.  The festive opening will have magical food and music that will provide the ultimate setting for an event celebrating the unicorn in art.  An awards ceremony for participating artists takes place at 9:00pm.  During the awards, a King/Queen of the Unicorn will be knighted after tabulating votes from the people attending the show.

Among the forty plus artists already scheduled to participate include: Paul Beck, Chris Chappell, Kevin Collins, Jenny Hart,  Felice House, Rachel Koper, Shea Little, Hope Perkins, Joseph Phillips, Matthew Rodriguez, Michael Schliefke, Rory Skagen, Ian Shults, Jana Swec, and Dana Younger, among others. For a complete list of artists, consult the artist page at the Will There Ever Be a Rainbow website.
